Team 1168: Malvern Prep robotics is a student run organization based in both Malvern Preparatory School and Villa Maria Academy. We are based in Malvern PA, outside of Philadelphia. Founded in 2002 by Robert Boyce, Mr. Parsons, and Mr. Blosinski; we have continued to stay strong as a team since! Robert Boyce was the plant manager of Limerick Nuclear Power Plant and a Captain of the US Navy, while Parsons and Blosinski were two Malvern Prep students who decided, in cooperation with Robert Boyce, to establish the our robotics team. Villa Maria Academy joined Malvern Robotics a few years after it's founding, and have continued the partnership to the current day!
Having spent 12 years building our team we have been able to reach a level of expertise. We finished first at our most recent competition, Ramp Riot at Wissahickon High School. (11/1/14).
